1. Information we collect

We collect only the minimum information needed to run the service:

• Information from your Google account: when you choose “Continue with Google”, Google shares your display name, email address, profile picture and Google account identifier (Google ID) with us.
• Session data: a session token created by our authentication service to keep you signed in, plus the sign-in time, IP address and browser information used for security.
• Browser preferences: the interface language you chose (Vietnamese or English).
• Technical data: standard access logs (IP address, browser type, access time) recorded by our hosting and authentication providers.

Your answers and quiz progress are currently handled in your browser and are not stored on our servers. If we later add a feature that saves quiz history, we will update this policy before that feature goes live.

We never see your Google password because authentication happens directly on Google. We also do not collect payment information, precise location or sensitive personal data.

2. Google data access

Quizziz requests only the basic Google scopes used for signing in:

• openid: verifies your identity when you sign in.
• email (userinfo.email): lets us see the email address of your Google account.
• profile (userinfo.profile): lets us see the name and profile picture on your Google profile.

We do not request or access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, contacts or any other Google service of yours.

3. How we use information

• To authenticate you and let you take quizzes (signing in with Google is required to take a quiz).
• To show your name and profile picture in the website header.
• To keep you signed in and remember your interface language.
• To protect the service against fraud, abuse and unauthorized access, and to fix technical problems.
• To respond when you send a support request or a personal data request, and to comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising, do not sell your data, do not build profiles to target ads, and do not use that data to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

4. Compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy

Quizziz’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We use Google user data only to provide sign-in and to show your account in the app.
• We do not transfer that data to third parties, except as necessary to provide the service (for example our authentication and database provider), to comply with the law, or with your consent.
• We do not allow humans to read that data, except with your consent, for security purposes or to investigate abuse, or to comply with the law.
• We do not use that data for advertising, including personalized or interest-based advertising.

5. Sharing information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. Information is processed only by the following parties, to the extent needed to run the service:

• Google: provides the sign-in service. Your profile picture is loaded directly from Google’s servers, so Google may record your IP address when it loads. Google processes data under the Google Privacy Policy.
• Supabase: our authentication and database provider, which stores account and session data on our behalf under the Supabase Privacy Policy.
• Website hosting provider: delivers the website’s code and content to your browser.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, property and safety of us and our users.

6. Cookies and local storage

Quizziz does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics or tracking tools. The website uses your browser’s local storage only for two essential purposes:

• To keep your session so you do not have to sign in on every visit.
• To remember the interface language you chose.

You can clear this data at any time by signing out or by clearing site data in your browser. You will then need to sign in again.

7. Data retention

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. When you ask us to delete it, we will delete or anonymize your account data within 30 days, except data we are legally required to keep. Technical logs recorded by our infrastructure providers are kept for a short period under those providers’ own policies.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information:

• Connections to the website and the authentication service are encrypted with HTTPS.
• Sign-in uses the OAuth 2.0 flow with PKCE; we never see or store your Google password.
• The browser app contains only public keys; secret keys are kept on the authentication provider’s servers.
• User data stored in the database is protected with row-level security (RLS) access policies.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee 100% security.

9. Your rights and how to delete your data

You have the right to be informed about, access, correct, delete, restrict the processing of, object to the processing of, and withdraw consent for your personal data, under Vietnam’s Decree 13/2023/ND-CP and the data protection laws that apply where you live (such as the GDPR for users in the European Economic Area). You can:

• Delete your account and data: email the contact address at the end of this page, from the email address you use to sign in, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We will process it within 30 days.
• Access or correct your data: send a request to the same email address. Your name and profile picture come from your Google account, so you can also change them directly in Google.
• Revoke access: go to the third-party access page of your Google Account and remove Quizziz from the list of apps with access to your account.
• Sign out: choose “Sign out” in the account menu to remove the session from your browser.

10. International data storage and transfer

Your data may be stored and processed on servers outside the country where you live, wherever our infrastructure providers operate. We work only with providers that apply appropriate data protection measures.

11. Children’s privacy

Quizziz is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users under 16 should use the service with the consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us so we can delete it.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the service changes (for example when we add a feature that saves quiz history) or when the law requires. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page. For important changes, we will post a clear notice on the website before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.

Chúng tôi chỉ thu thập lượng thông tin tối thiểu cần thiết để vận hành dịch vụ:

• Thông tin từ tài khoản Google của bạn: khi bạn chọn “Tiếp tục với Google”, Google chia sẻ với chúng tôi tên hiển thị, địa chỉ email, ảnh đại diện và mã định danh tài khoản Google (Google ID) của bạn.
• Dữ liệu phiên đăng nhập: mã phiên (token) do dịch vụ xác thực tạo ra để giữ bạn ở trạng thái đã đăng nhập, cùng thời điểm đăng nhập, địa chỉ IP và thông tin trình duyệt phục vụ mục đích bảo mật.
• Tuỳ chọn trên trình duyệt: ngôn ngữ giao diện bạn đã chọn (Tiếng Việt hoặc English).
• Dữ liệu kỹ thuật: nhật ký truy cập tiêu chuẩn (địa chỉ IP, loại trình duyệt, thời gian truy cập) do nhà cung cấp lưu trữ và xác thực ghi lại.

Câu trả lời và tiến độ làm bài của bạn hiện được xử lý ngay trên trình duyệt và không được lưu trên máy chủ của chúng tôi. Nếu sau này chúng tôi bổ sung tính năng lưu lịch sử làm bài, chúng tôi sẽ cập nhật chính sách này trước khi tính năng đó hoạt động.

Chúng tôi không nhìn thấy mật khẩu Google của bạn vì việc xác thực diễn ra trực tiếp trên Google. Chúng tôi cũng không thu thập thông tin thanh toán, vị trí chính xác hay dữ liệu cá nhân nhạy cảm.

2. Quyền truy cập dữ liệu Google

Quizziz chỉ yêu cầu các phạm vi (scope) cơ bản của Google dùng để đăng nhập:

• openid: xác minh danh tính của bạn khi đăng nhập.
• email (userinfo.email): xem địa chỉ email của tài khoản Google.
• profile (userinfo.profile): xem tên và ảnh đại diện trong hồ sơ Google.

Chúng tôi không yêu cầu và không truy cập Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, danh bạ hay bất kỳ dịch vụ Google nào khác của bạn.

3. Cách chúng tôi sử dụng thông tin

• Xác thực bạn và cho phép bạn làm bài (cần đăng nhập bằng Google để làm bài).
• Hiển thị tên và ảnh đại diện của bạn trên thanh tiêu đề của website.
• Duy trì phiên đăng nhập và ghi nhớ ngôn ngữ giao diện.
• Bảo vệ dịch vụ khỏi gian lận, lạm dụng và truy cập trái phép; khắc phục sự cố kỹ thuật.
• Phản hồi khi bạn gửi yêu cầu hỗ trợ hoặc yêu cầu về dữ liệu cá nhân, và tuân thủ nghĩa vụ pháp lý.

Chúng tôi không dùng thông tin của bạn để quảng cáo, không bán dữ liệu của bạn, không lập hồ sơ để nhắm mục tiêu quảng cáo và không dùng dữ liệu đó để huấn luyện mô hình trí tuệ nhân tạo hay học máy.

4. Tuân thủ Chính sách dữ liệu người dùng của Google API

Việc Quizziz sử dụng và chuyển giao thông tin nhận được từ Google API sang bất kỳ ứng dụng nào khác sẽ tuân thủ Chính sách Dịch vụ API của Google về dữ liệu người dùng, bao gồm các yêu cầu về Sử dụng có giới hạn (Limited Use). Cụ thể:

• Chúng tôi chỉ dùng dữ liệu người dùng Google để cung cấp tính năng đăng nhập và hiển thị tài khoản của bạn trong ứng dụng.
• Chúng tôi không chuyển giao dữ liệu đó cho bên thứ ba, trừ khi cần thiết để cung cấp dịch vụ (ví dụ nhà cung cấp xác thực và cơ sở dữ liệu), để tuân thủ pháp luật, hoặc khi có sự đồng ý của bạn.
• Chúng tôi không cho phép con người đọc dữ liệu đó, trừ khi có sự đồng ý của bạn, để bảo mật hoặc điều tra lạm dụng, hoặc để tuân thủ pháp luật.
• Chúng tôi không dùng dữ liệu đó cho quảng cáo, kể cả quảng cáo cá nhân hoá hay quảng cáo dựa trên sở thích.

5. Chia sẻ thông tin

Chúng tôi không bán hay cho thuê thông tin cá nhân của bạn. Thông tin chỉ được xử lý bởi các bên sau, trong phạm vi cần thiết để vận hành dịch vụ:

• Google: cung cấp dịch vụ đăng nhập. Ảnh đại diện của bạn được tải trực tiếp từ máy chủ của Google nên Google có thể ghi nhận địa chỉ IP của bạn khi ảnh được tải. Google xử lý dữ liệu theo Chính sách quyền riêng tư của Google.
• Supabase: nhà cung cấp dịch vụ xác thực và cơ sở dữ liệu, lưu dữ liệu tài khoản và phiên đăng nhập thay mặt chúng tôi theo Chính sách quyền riêng tư của Supabase.
• Nhà cung cấp lưu trữ website: phân phối mã nguồn và nội dung website tới trình duyệt của bạn.

Chúng tôi cũng có thể tiết lộ thông tin khi pháp luật yêu cầu hoặc để bảo vệ quyền, tài sản và sự an toàn của chúng tôi và của người dùng.

6. Cookie và lưu trữ cục bộ

Quizziz không sử dụng cookie quảng cáo hay công cụ phân tích, theo dõi của bên thứ ba. Website chỉ dùng bộ nhớ cục bộ (local storage) của trình duyệt cho hai mục đích thiết yếu:

• Lưu phiên đăng nhập để bạn không phải đăng nhập lại mỗi lần truy cập.
• Ghi nhớ ngôn ngữ giao diện bạn đã chọn.

Bạn có thể xoá dữ liệu này bất cứ lúc nào bằng cách đăng xuất hoặc xoá dữ liệu trang web trong trình duyệt. Khi đó bạn sẽ cần đăng nhập lại.

7. Thời gian lưu trữ

Chúng tôi lưu thông tin tài khoản của bạn trong thời gian tài khoản còn hoạt động. Khi bạn yêu cầu xoá, chúng tôi sẽ xoá hoặc ẩn danh hoá dữ liệu tài khoản trong vòng 30 ngày, trừ phần dữ liệu mà pháp luật yêu cầu phải giữ lại. Nhật ký kỹ thuật do nhà cung cấp hạ tầng ghi lại được lưu trong thời hạn ngắn theo chính sách của nhà cung cấp đó.

8. Bảo mật

Chúng tôi áp dụng các biện pháp hợp lý để bảo vệ thông tin của bạn:

• Kết nối tới website và dịch vụ xác thực được mã hoá bằng HTTPS.
• Đăng nhập dùng luồng OAuth 2.0 với PKCE; chúng tôi không bao giờ nhìn thấy hay lưu mật khẩu Google của bạn.
• Ứng dụng chạy trên trình duyệt chỉ chứa khoá công khai; khoá bí mật được giữ ở phía máy chủ của nhà cung cấp xác thực.
• Dữ liệu người dùng lưu trong cơ sở dữ liệu được kiểm soát quyền truy cập bằng chính sách phân quyền ở mức dòng (Row Level Security).

Không có phương thức truyền tải hay lưu trữ nào an toàn tuyệt đối, vì vậy chúng tôi không thể bảo đảm an toàn 100%.

9. Quyền của bạn và cách xoá dữ liệu

Bạn có quyền được biết, truy cập, chỉnh sửa, xoá, hạn chế xử lý, phản đối xử lý và rút lại sự đồng ý đối với dữ liệu cá nhân của mình, theo Nghị định 13/2023/NĐ-CP của Việt Nam và pháp luật bảo vệ dữ liệu hiện hành tại nơi bạn cư trú (như GDPR đối với người dùng ở Khu vực Kinh tế Châu Âu). Bạn có thể:

• Xoá tài khoản và dữ liệu: gửi email tới địa chỉ liên hệ ở cuối trang này, từ chính địa chỉ email bạn dùng để đăng nhập, với tiêu đề “Yêu cầu xoá tài khoản”. Chúng tôi sẽ xử lý trong vòng 30 ngày.
• Truy cập hoặc chỉnh sửa dữ liệu: gửi yêu cầu tới cùng địa chỉ email. Tên và ảnh đại diện được lấy từ tài khoản Google nên bạn cũng có thể thay đổi trực tiếp trong Google.
• Thu hồi quyền truy cập: vào trang quản lý quyền truy cập của Tài khoản Google và gỡ Quizziz khỏi danh sách ứng dụng được phép truy cập tài khoản.
• Đăng xuất: chọn “Đăng xuất” trong menu tài khoản để xoá phiên đăng nhập khỏi trình duyệt.

10. Lưu trữ và chuyển dữ liệu quốc tế

Dữ liệu của bạn có thể được lưu trữ và xử lý trên máy chủ đặt ngoài quốc gia nơi bạn cư trú, tại những nơi nhà cung cấp hạ tầng của chúng tôi vận hành. Chúng tôi chỉ làm việc với các nhà cung cấp áp dụng biện pháp bảo vệ dữ liệu phù hợp.

11. Quyền riêng tư của trẻ em

Quizziz không hướng tới trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi và chúng tôi không cố ý thu thập thông tin cá nhân của trẻ em dưới 13 tuổi. Người dùng dưới 16 tuổi nên sử dụng dịch vụ với sự đồng ý của cha mẹ hoặc người giám hộ. Nếu bạn cho rằng một trẻ em đã cung cấp thông tin cho chúng tôi, hãy liên hệ để chúng tôi xoá thông tin đó.

12. Thay đổi chính sách

Chúng tôi có thể cập nhật chính sách này khi dịch vụ thay đổi (ví dụ khi bổ sung tính năng lưu lịch sử làm bài) hoặc khi pháp luật yêu cầu. Ngày cập nhật gần nhất được ghi ở đầu trang. Với thay đổi quan trọng, chúng tôi sẽ thông báo rõ ràng trên website trước khi áp dụng. Việc tiếp tục sử dụng dịch vụ sau khi thay đổi có hiệu lực nghĩa là bạn chấp nhận chính sách đã cập nhật.
